About Our ABC Pathways Package
Movement activities on the ABC Pathways are endless and allow the students to learn the letters of the alphabet kinesthetically. Walking the ABC Pathways Mat, the students are able to kinesthetically trace each letter of the alphabet, while strengthening gross motor skills, eye tracking, and cross lateralization - 3 foundations critical to learning.

Brain Body Connection
There are muscles in our eyes that focus near and far and muscles that allow us to track left to right and up & down. Eye tracking exercises strengthen the muscles in our eyes to increase the length of time that the eyes can focus on reading. The body becomes more efficient at maintaining balance, reacting quickly to changes, and sustaining stability for longer periods. This not only improves physical coordination but also enhances mental focus and spatial awareness.
Integrating Movement with Academics in the ABL Lab
To start, students will work only on balance by moving the marble through the figure 8 and waves on the board. As basic movements are mastered, progressions can be added to introduce academic content. Student's can work on teacher provided content with a partner using flash cards or from the smart board.

The ABL® Calming Cart provides schools with a flexible, portable solution to integrate Action Based Learning® strategies while supporting student self-regulation and emotional wellness. Designed for elementary classrooms (K–5), this mobile cart equips educators with over 35 tools, 10+ stations, and 120+ activities to help students reset, focus, and prepare their brains for learning.

The Calming Cart is designed to help students manage emotions, reduce stress, and regain focus. ABL Sensory Hallway Sets are considered one of the most cost effective and efficient ways to impact every child through movement. Reach more students and allow Action Based Learning strategies to be practiced daily. Hallway sets are designed to allow educators to customize the ABL Sensory path to fit all spaces and varying grade levels. Each set allows students to practice the critical foundations necessary to prepare the brain to learn.
These are 135+ piece commercial grade decal sets, as large as 26.5 inches, that can be placed throughout your school, on the floors and also the walls to create a play/learning environment outside of the classroom! Each set allows plenty of options for moving through the 12 Foundations and many more elements to be creative and create a fun learning environment.

Why Action Based Learning Hallway Sets?
Quality and Quantity: ABL Hallway sets are the highest quality sets on the market, designed for high traffic environments. All hallway sets are manufactured using commercial grade vinyl on commercial printers. Sticker size is up to 2x larger than the standard sensory path and quantity of stickers in each set ranges between 75 to 120 stickers per set! This is double the size of standard hallway sets.
How are these adhered to the floors? Are they permanent?
They are adhesive stickers. Once you place them where you like them in the hallway, we recommend waxing over to maintain their structure throughout the year. If you decide you do not want them one day down the road they can be removed when the floors are stripped. If you decide to keep them, the maintenance can do a light strip and re-wax (which is typically how they do all of the floors each year).
