ABL Big Ball Bounce Swing

The Big Ball Bounce Swing provides excellent vestibular and proprioceptive stimulation because it allows for controlled bouncing and vertical movement. The swing incorporates a 55cm therapy ball as the base for a variety of activities including flexion, extension, and postural adjustments. Can be used as both a swing and on the floor for controlled activities.

*Stimulates the cerebral cortex - the part of the brain that helps you focus.
*Strengthens the core and helps with the development of balance.
*Helps with sensory integration: how the brain organizes and interprets information. Sensory integration provides a foundation for later, more complex learning & behavior.
*Increases spatial awareness. Swinging movement helps perceptual skills, while also functioning as a calming activity. A rotational device is needed for this swing.

Dimensions: 22"W x 60"H

MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST:
EYEBOLTS WEAR WITH USE AND SHOULD BE INSPECTED DAILY. DISCONTINUE USE AND REPLACE THE EYEBOLT BEFORE THE WEAR EXCEEDS 30% OF THE DIAMETER OF THE EYEBOLT.

**3 PERSON ASSEMBLY**

All of the following wear points should be checked on a daily basis.
- Check safety rotational device for wear on the eyes or carabiners. If found on either, discontinue use until
repaired or replaced. Discontinue use if device does not spin smoothly or makes noise.
- Check all carabiners for wear. Make sure the self closing gate snaps closed properly and all pins are secure. If equipped with a locking snap, make sure the locking barrel is in the locked position.
- Check all eyebolts for wear and movement. If more than 30% of the thickness of the eyebolt is worn
away, discontinue use until replaced. Try to turn and move the eyebolt. If the eyebolt moves, discontinue use until all hardware is checked and tightened.
- Use a small amount of grease where the eyebolt and carabiner connect to extend the life of the eyebolt and carabiner.
- Check any bars for wear at the attachment points and discontinue use if found.
- Check all nuts and bolts and make certain they are tight.
- Check ropes for fraying, including parts of rope under any covers, and discontinue use if found.
- Check all knots and splices for wear and tightness and discontinue use if worn.
- Check wire loops for broken or split wires and discontinue use if found.
