SESSION DESCRIPTION:

This one-day professional development workshop introduces educators to the foundational principles of Action Based Learning (ABL). Facilitated by certified ABL Master Trainers, this highly interactive training explores the Research and Science Behind the Active Learning Movement, and provides brain-based, kinesthetic teaching methods that transform classrooms into active, engaging learning environments.

Grounded in decades of brain research, Action Based Learning focuses on the critical link between the brain and body, demonstrating how purposeful movement strengthens neurological pathways, supports cognitive development, and improves academic performance. Participants will gain hands-on experience implementing movement strategies that improve focus, behavior, and student achievement—while creating a school culture of active, happy, and engaged learners.

Educators will also explore how to Create Active Learning Classrooms with Little or No Budget, and how to apply the 12 Foundations of Learning Readiness to support the physical, cognitive, and behavioral growth of every student.
